Do lysine supplements cause any bad hormonal effects?

I'm taking lysine daily but I'm worried it could cause weird hormonal changes either now or in the future. Will it affect any pregnancies I'll have later on in life? It doesn't mention any side effects for taking it except for possible stomach pain/diareah. I'm worried about fertility/ birth defects/ problems during any future pregnancies.
