Were you mixing the medicine into the wet food or giving it to her directly and then giving her the food, if it was the former she may not have been eating all the food and therefore not been getting the right amount. Or the cold could have been more serious then they realized and she needs stronger medicine. Either way, call the humane society first thing tommorrow and tell them you need her rechecked.
