Problem with cold sores?

So, yeah I started dating this guy and then I got a cold sore out of nowhere! So I used a bunch of L-lysine and put a bunch of abreva on it multiple times a day. So that one kind of went away and like left a scab, and then the next day i had another one in the corner of my mouth! and i didnt even feel it coming like no tingelys or anything so i did the same for that one, its still there and now theres ANOTHER one on the bottom lip! these things are driving me crazy, why are so many popping up one after another and how can i stop them?? thanks!
