Just started taking Lysine, how long til it works?

Whether L-lysine is any good for preventing an outbreak of cold sores is very much up in the air. Using it for treatment is more of a wild hope. I wouldn't expect it to do anything.

Do some reg. cleaner freeware create probs.?

i downloaded two diff. freeware reg. cleaners both with the options to buy the full version.. here is the problem, one of them said i had 27 reg. problems to fix, the other said i had over 200.. the real question is do some of these freeware programs actually create some problems just to get you to buy the full version to fix them? they both were from reputable company's.

How long will my cold sore last?

So i just got a cold sore this morning. I put some Lysine+ on right away and then took it off 20 minutes later b/c i had to do my makeup. Right after i got home from school i put some more Lysine+ on. My cold sore is HUGE, like the size of a quarter and its not even on my lips but right above my lips. I wanna get rid of it before school ends which is in 1 week. I'm just wondering if i keep applying Lysine+(during and after school) if it'll be gone before school ends, and if not what else can i do.

How many days after a tonsillectomy does your throat start to feel better?

I had a tonsillectomy Thursday the 16th, so 9 days ago and the pain in my throat hasn't gotten any better. I am 20 years old and I have lost 10 lbs which puts me down to 100 lbs total, I feel like I am starving myself and I want to eat so bad but it hurts sooo bad so I am hardly eating anything except jello and popsicles. I had to stop taking vicodin because it made me throw up so now I'm taking tylenol with codeine but it doesn't do much for the pain. Also, i was hospitalized for 4 days this week with a C-Diff infection so could that be why my recovery is taking longer? I am miserable and hungry and just want this pain to get better!!
