Giving mice lysine?????????

I'm doing an experiment for ap bio and testing amino acids on mice to see reactions. one lysine pill is .74 grams but I crushed it into a powder and dissolved .24 grams into the water. I will continue to change out the water and increase the amount of lysine just barely each day for a week. any predictions on what results to expect? (.24 grams was put into 250 ml of water, shared by 3 mice)
