Is it possible to stop a cold sore before it stops really growing?

I use to get the same thing, but my g-friend insisted that I start taking this new pill out for cold sores I was getting. Well despite their stupid name, the sh** worked for my cold sores, all the way around. They are natural and I'm their new biggest fan. Anyway, it's called The Canker Spanker, no joke - don't get me started on their name.
