Long-lasting vaginal symptoms?

Hi. About 6 months ago I had sex with a guy and the condom slipped off in the middle and I was unprotected for a while. Sorry, it's tmi I know. About 2 weeks after the encounter, I started getting a thick white discharge and some irritation. I thought it was a yeast infection so I let it run its course. However, I got a new symptom: tingling in the vulva. It's really annoying. I also started experiencing some itchiness and redness in the anal area and I have NEVER had anal sex. I went and was tested for chlamydia, gonnorrhea, hiv, syphilis, and had a pap smear done and observed under a microscope. I told the doctor I had some irritation and tingling and she said that I looked healthy. I don't understand how nothing could be wrong, though, since I'm still experiencing these problems. I do think I have a UTI and I'm going to the doctor as soon as I can for that. I am pretty convinced it's herpes, but I haven't ever experienced any sores, though i know that can happen. I have been taking a 2500 mg dose of L-Lysine per day for about 2 weeks and the symptoms have not changed. Does anyone know what this could be? If you do think it's herpes, how long should I expect it to last? Because 6 months seems like a long time to have these same symptoms. Thanks in advance for your answer! I'm freaking out!!
