What is diff. b/w a Notebook and a Laptop?

A netbook is like a smaller version of a laptop but of course has a smaller screen and smaller storage. But with your specification I'd recommend that you'd go with a laptop. With a laptop that has a decent graphics card can handle gaming and school work well.
