Swollen lip/ cold sore?? HELP ASAP?

A couple days ago I started developing a cold sore, no big deal. I did my usual toothpaste, rubbing alcohol, carmex routine while taking lysine, and nothing. My lip swelled up EASILY 3x it's normal size and will NOT go down. I've tried ice, salt, hot water... Nothing will get this to go down! The sore is relatively small, but it's my ENTIRE upper lip that's swollen!!!! Does anyone have suggestions to get the swelling down that DOESN'T require ice because that's done literally nothing. HELP!
